    Is Doubt Holding You Back? If things get any worse, it pains you to know that you and your pet bird will have to go separate ways. 7 things to look for to determine if your bird is sick. Do you know that birds have an inherent trait?... They try not to show when they are sick. A sick bird is the target of predators. Once you start noticing obvious signs of a sick bird, it's usually too late to help. In such instances, immediate care by a trained avian veterinarian will be needed. (Page 17)
