   A Practical, Detailed Guide So where can you get information on what it's really like to live or retire in Mexico? But it's hard to know what exactly it is that Mexico has to offer. You recognize the "cheap Mexico" and "Mexico is paradise" hype for what it is. Hype. You are left with a desire to get beneath the surface and find out more about what it is really like to live or retire in Mexico.
